PLM
APPROACH (PRODUCT LIFECYCLE
MANAGEMENT)
Within the PLM management of
its customers and use of the
manufacturers' digital
mockups, Sogitec deploys
tools and methods of
documentary engineering being
able to imply several
partners on the same project:
this innovating and automated
process guarantees the
traceability of the
data-source and makes it
possible to deliver on time
and at the best price.
- Use of the
manufacturers/equipment
suppliers data-source
and of the digital
mockups,
- Collaboratif
development between
partners,
- Internet technologies.
A PRECISE WORK
FLOW
- Intensive use of the
data source.
Management of the
technical
configuration,
management of the
data-source and of
their traceability.
Optimal use of the digital
mockups.
Automatic extraction of
the data base and
automatic publishing of
the manuals.
- Rigorous project
management.
Control of the
documentary process
from beginning to end.

Reviews of validation.
AECMA
1000D EXPERIENCE
Realization
of the documentation for the
RAFALE aircraft, consisted of
Date-Modules charged in a
database (CSDB) common to the
various versions of the
aircraft M, B and C.
Collaboratif development
between various partners who
all apply the same generic
technical specifications.
Complete documentation
includes the descriptions of
the systems of the aircraft,
the work cards and
procedures, the illustrated
parts catalog (IPC), the
documentation of the crew
(descriptions, norpal and
emergency procedures), the
wiring diagrams, etc.
The Date-Modules are written
in SGML/XML (structured and
marked up text).
The illustrations are carried
out from the digital mockup
aircraft in the vector format
CGM. The interactive
electronic publications are
carried out by user (French
air force and Navy).
Sogitec is fitting its
process to standard AECMA S1000D
(ASD)
ATA 2200 EXPERIENCE
Authoring of the
Dassault-Aviation Falcon
aircraft documentation.
Updating of the Falcon 10 and
Falcon 20 in use
documentation and electronic
publishing on CDROM
and on the Web.
Creation of the documentary
data bases for the aircraft
“in production” (Falcon
50EX, Falcon 2000, Falcon
900EX, F7X).
The data bases are managed in
configuration thanks to the
software tools DocTec and
ViewTec (technology XML).
Documentation is delivered in
the form of electronic
publication, of paper and/or
CDROM FIELD (Falcon
Interactive Electronic
Library by Dassault).
